When Lewis & Clark reached the mouth of what we now call the Sandy River in 1805, they called it the “Quicksand River” due to a Mt. Hood eruption only a few years prior to their exploration. Follow this beautiful river toward the town of Sandy, Oregon, past Oregon’s tallest peak, Mt. Hood, over the National Forest toward the city of Cascade Locks, Oregon on the Columbia River and venture west back toward Troutdale. This tour is truly a beauty and will permit countless photographic memories.
While taking a private flight that follows the Columbia river up to the Columbia River Gorge you are treated to views of dozens of waterfalls, dazzling views of Portland’s many bridges and towering buildings that sit between the Willamette River and the west hills.
Fly with us over the Columbia River, past dozens of permanent and seasonal waterfalls, and see why this gorge is cherished by so many.
Five days of rafting through the deepest gorge in North America, Hell’s Canyon on the Snake River, Idaho & Oregon!
